Crash Bandicoot example?

I think that the Crash Bandicoot (now weak) example doesn't really qualify since Crash cannot rescing ownership of the wumpa fruits. Once he's picked one up..it's his. This is slightly different from the Sonic example where Sonic can actually lose the rings if he takes a hit (and can try to re-collect as many as possible before they disappear of the edge of the screen).
