Talk:Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment
From GameOntology
I'm not sure that the Counter Strike example is a good match for this entry. Basically, the difficulty of the game is variable, but that depends on the skills of the other players rather than because of some action on the part of the game. However, it raises an interesting issue regarding Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment in multiplayer games. I'm sure there must be games that allow for handicapping, or give players that are doing poorly bonuses... can anyone think of any examples? It would be great to add a couple to this entry.
