Talk:3-Dimensional Gameplay

I'm not sure that the Counterstrike example is currently good for understanding 3-D gameplay. I think that CS does have 3-D gameplay, but that doesn't come across from the example. Can someone with more experience with this game confirm? Jp 09:01, 13 February 2007 (EST)

I don't think some of these games should be in here at all...

Regarding the following games listed as weak examples: - Super Mario Bros - Super Mario World - Tetris These are not weak examples of 3D gameplay; they are simply not examples of 3D gameplay at all. In my opinion, a weak example of 3D gameplay would be something like Megaman ZX or Kirby 64 with traditional 2D-sidescroller gameplay mapped to a 3-dimensionally rendered world. I am going to remove these examples. If anyone cares to post a better explanation as to why they belong in this page, they can feel free to roll back and explain better.

Good point. A weak example still has to be an example at some level...and the ones you deleted clearly did not meet that criteria. I'll also tidy up the formatting a little bit to help make things a bit clearer. Jp 22:15, 16 February 2007 (EST)

Weak examples aren't really examples?

There's a bunch of weak examples there (House of the Dead) in which there is a 3D gameworld but gameplay ISN'T 3D...or almost 3D...or anything like that. It looks like we need to do a bit of cleanup of provide some more detail on these examples.
